Friday, March 12 @ Sarasota, FL @ Triangle Ranch on the Myakka River - 5-8pm

Triangle Ranch. 1,100 acres of Old Florida wilderness with the Myakka River running though it. Pristine uplands habitat. 40 min East of Downtown Sarasota. The Myakka River is a wild river in central western Florida. Triangle Ranch is owned by Elizabeth Moore and she placed it in a conservation easement to protect it from development, forever. 3 miles of the Myakka run through it. This is a magical slice of Old Florida.

For our first ever Marsh Madness event we will be presented on the banks of this fresh water river that feeds a priceless littoral region. We will begin this annual tradition "upstream" of the marshes and estuaries of Fort Myers, Sarasota & Tampa.

In between course a special presentation will be made by Dave Tomasko, Ph. D, Executive Director of Sarasota Bay Estuary Project. Mr Tomasko will speak about the challenges and threats to the bay as well as the successes of their preservation and restoration work. Learn more here: https://sarasotabay.org/
